Firefly Keno
On July 8, 2016, 1X2 Gaming launched the oriental keno variant called Firefly Keno, which is partly named after the fireflies that show up during the gameplay. Thematic elements range from luck and pagoda to Chinese lanterns, writing system (Hanzi), guardian lion, and wood carving.
Firefly Keno Game Characteristics
The Firefly Keno’s loading page may ask players to “Go full screen?”, prompting them to tick or press “X”. Clicking “>” redirects to a brilliant red 8X10 board; its selections 1 throughout 80 are embedded on conjoined Chinese lanterns, which are set on an intricate Chinese wood carving.
The Firefly Keno’s numbers are chosen: manually, by pressing individual numbers; or automatically, by clicking the gray icon with crossed arrows that randomly picks the numbers and determines the amount of selections. There is at least one selection, which are capped at 15.
The Firefly Keno’s bet sizes: $0.10 (minimum), $0.20, $0.30, $0.40, $0.50, $1.00, $1.50, $2.00, $4.00, $6.00, $8.00, $10.00, and $20.00 (maximum).
Pressing “play” prompts 20 swarms of fireflies to hover on the drawn winning numbers, which turn light green if they match with the player’s yellow predicted numbers. The drawn non-winning numbers are faded.
Firefly Keno has numerous possible payouts depend with the selections and bet size, and they are showed— in an ascending order for selections 1 to 15—on the red Chinese scroll at center right.
